A quiet sequence of arrival.
This proposal explores the lobby not as a singular space, but as a series of thresholds — from street to stair, from movement to pause. A restrained palette of stone, brass and timber is used to create continuity, while light is carefully controlled to reveal texture rather than overwhelm it.
The stair becomes the anchor of the space: a sculptural element that organises movement, frames views, and introduces moments of encounter. Soft planting and recessed niches offer places to slow down, balancing the otherwise transient nature of a commercial building.
The intention was to move away from the typical “feature lobby” and instead create something more enduring — calm, tactile, and quietly legible.
