In this conversation, @homecinemaalliance (HCA) sat down with Gerard from Procella Audio to unpack a milestone year: the redesigned P8, the new Uno subwoofer line, and Immersio, a complete approach to pairing high-performance audio with direct-view LED.
The new P8 keeps the soul of Procella’s first loudspeaker, but modernises what matters: a cleaner front baffle, a streamlined grille, an integrated waveguide for improved off-axis response, and a simplified crossover aimed at lower loss and tighter imaging. Dispersion is tuned for real seating layouts across small, medium, and large rooms, so coverage stays consistent across rows.
Uno makes bass practical: sealed, single-driver subs scaled to room volume. The U21 delivers a 21-inch driver in an ultra-shallow cabinet suited for baffle walls and tight installs. The U24 adds depth for a 24-inch driver while keeping the same front footprint, and the compact U12 rounds out the line for smaller spaces or multi-sub arrays.
Immersio ties it together with a 4K scope-format LED wall and a system approach designed to align sound and image on non-perforated screens—so dialogue locks to the picture.

At the core of #IMMERSIO is a state-of-the-art LED cinema screen that delivers vibrant, high-contrast images without the compromises of traditional projection. #LED screens generate light directly and need no perforations, so they exhibit none of the light loss or moiré pattern distortions that perforated projection screens can introduce. The result is razor-sharp, bright visuals with uniform brightness and deep contrast, even when viewed from up close. Crucially, by moving speakers above the screen (instead of behind it), Procella’s design preserves the display’s full visual fidelity, audiences can sit closer to the action with no visible artifacts on the image.
