Imagine a smart navigation system… but made just for cubes 🎲.
I built a custom procedural solver that checks destination point availability for every moving cube in real time. It smartly considers each cube’s size, then adjusts movement direction accordingly — so it always finds the perfect path and stops exactly at an available spot.
All the visual variety comes from just one single shader, powered by Maxon’s randomized material switch. It automatically changes the look based on each cube’s unique ID. For the decals I used prerendered sequences from a custom text generation asset, that are randomized directly on the primitives’ channel to reach the possibility of using this channel in the path of the decal texture.
