Been a bit insecure w my photography skills, and always feel like my photos are CRAP! BUT! I’m superrr happy with how these photos came out (for now). Can’t wait to show more of my favourite shots in the dolomites:)
Ps. Couldnt decide if I liked the edit for the last two pics, so I included the original so you could see how cold, depressing, miserable, and soul sucking it actually looked. But there’s something beautiful about that too.

Beautiful easy hike close to Banff!

If your looking for a beginner hike THIS IS THE ONE (with hiking shoes). The incline through the forest is mild, and then flat once you reach the meadow. There’s also TONS of beautiful wildflowers blooming by the streams leading to the meadow.
The scramble up to the first part of the ridge is easy, not many loose rocks, and once your at the top you get AMAZING views. There’s a tiny bit of exposure in one or two parts but I think most people won’t have a problem!
Took us 3 and a half hours with breaks for water and pictures:)
