Out today, on this bountiful Bandcamp Friday, on the newly illuminated Scriptorium Recordings, the debut album from Spiral Jetty. We’ve murmured about the finer points of recording and dubbing these tapes ourselves to our confidantes and we’re really proud to announce their coming to fruition. This may help to explain why we claimed SCRPT001 for ourselves and our best 45 minutes of jacking.
The frequencies are raunchy, the lyrics are perverse, and the Jetty is Spiraling. We’re ecstatic to present it to you, along with the announcement of our own imprint, a home for other artists who’ve fallen through the cracks in the dance floor, only to compose their most intimate work in the solitude of their own scriptoriums.
We’ll perform a couple select moments from the album on Sunday at Faddensonnen at 8pm with Sam!!!
