The story I come back to most often.
The quiet, bittersweet nostalgia (sometimes loud and messy) that comes with revisiting a home you had to say bye to years ago, is something that I've learnt to embrace. I feel lucky to have left little parts of myself nestled in countless spaces that are home to someone else now, or are patiently waiting for a long distance friend to visit again.
Long overdue, but this feels right.

picnic time, bawling at the dancing lights, awestruck by Shawn, freezing eskimo, should I get rid of my bed to squeeze in more plants? fluffiest clingy billi by the sea, we waited for the bird, twin, forever home, gorgeous Gingko in autumn, model awakening, saw dad's name on the board, the house I lived in when I was 7, missed photography, revising combinations in my sleep
@mirchibykim@kimayasingh thank you for having me as a part of this empowering campaign. It was such a joy to be surrounded by the most ambitious and inspiring women ๐ถ๐ธ
Finally, we managed to bring this super ambitious dream come true! I'm so so grateful to have flown to the other corner of Earth with my favourite person, and found new places to call home together. Being there felt quite overwhelming at times. I just couldn't believe it. If only I could show you the thousands of photos I have and turn the caption into a whole book about everything I observed and felt!
Peru and Brazil, you are absolutely magical. You will have a really special place in my heart forever ๐
