Yesterday is gone & another day has come...or in this case another year has come.
This year I choose joy. 💛
I choose to seek joy, know joy, but most of all, live in my joy.
2021: I declare joy over my life & the lives of others.
I was taught to *always* care about the joy of others. I love to ensure that the people around me are happy and if they’re not I have to help them get to that “happy place” because everyone deserves that. To feel joyous. To rejoice. To be happy. But often times, in the process, I forget about my own joy & the importance of that in shaping who I am as a human being. That is no more. Both will be my portion.
This year, I’m refusing to lose sight of my own joy & praying that I can continue to be used as a vessel that brings joy to others.✨
