👋 Kaitlin here, checking in from 7 months of motherhood while working full time in higher ed, and running a riso print studio…
Baby-wearing is a lifesaver, but it’s still p hard (impossible) to do while moving riso drums in & out of the machine. That’s where the pop-up playpen comes in clutch! Good thing the actual printing part per color is relatively fast, because my new boss is pretty demanding and doesn’t like to be put down for too long😌
All this to say, I wouldn’t change a thing, and appreciate everyone’s patience & understanding while I figure out how to have & do it all… 💕🧸🌈

Queers! Zines! Collage! Riso! 🌈
Let’s get into the mood for St. Pete Pride weekend with a Queer Zine workshop on Wednesday, June 24th from 6pm to 8pm!
Get a friendly introduction to zines and RISO printing while we work collaboratively on a one-sheet queer zine (folded into 8 pages).
Everyone will create a page using analog materials like collage, illustration, and text. Then we’ll print them together using the RISO duplicator, and everyone will take home copies to keep and share!
$35/person, all supplies included.
Got a zine idea? Want to start printing your work using the Risograph? Better sign up for our 3-day zine camp! 🏕️
June 12-14 from 12-4pm
You’ll walk away with your own zine edition, and be eligible to return for RISO studio time to keep making more zines ✂️

Through the years… the same location, except the last 2 slides are my very first print shop in the back of Ramblin Rose at 683 Central in 2012 🌞✨
Fun fact 👉Did you know that before we were officially “Print St. Pete” in 2016, we were Oma Darlin & the Southern Letterpress?
#throwback
Zine Camp is a 3-day deep dive into the magical world of ZINES where you’ll create your own RISO zine with “camp counselor”, @omadarlin of Print St. Pete.
✨Friday, June 12th - Sunday, June 14th 12pm-4pm✨
We’ll dive into the magical world of zines, independent publishing, and Risograph printing as we brainstorm and explore a variety of activities in both digital and analog mediums to create content for zines including text, hand drawn art, photography, illustration, and collage.
Get tips and tricks for layout, pagination, and file preparation, and print a small edition of your zine using the RISO duplicator. Campers will leave with 12 copies of their zine, as well as a copy of each other’s zines!
We recommend you have a zine project in mind that you would like to complete due to the limited time frame of the workshop. Let’s bring your idea to life!

make a riso print with me @printstpete !!
i dont rlly have a title for this duo print but this drawing is about how i really struggle with daily tasks as someone with adhd. my friends and even my therapist suggested i try to view life as tasks in a video game, and i loved dress up games growing up so i formatted it that way. but even so, the overwhelming feeling of wanting to quit just gets louder everyday. i used federal blue and flou pink, i really liked how the yellow one turned out bc i think it gives the piece a sickly feeling which is how i see doing daily things.
it was a fun experience!! i love riso
