Printjam ist eine kollektive Erfahrung, in der das gedruckte Bild zu einem Raum der Begegnung, des Dialogs und der Transformation wird. Aus dem gemeinsamen Wunsch heraus entstanden, über individuelle Praktiken hinauszugehen, vereint das Projekt Künstler*innen mit eigenständigen visuellen Sprachen in einem gemeinsamen Prozess: dem gemeinsamen Arbeiten im Echtzeitmodus des Ateliers.
Die „Jamprints“, die aus diesem Prozess hervorgehen, sind einzigartige Werke, entstanden aus einer intensiven kollaborativen Dynamik. Sie tragen die Spuren von Austausch, Spannungen, Übereinkünften und Zufällen, die ihre Entstehung prägen. Kein Werk gleicht dem anderen; jedes spiegelt einen spezifischen Moment im Dialog zwischen den Künstler*innen wider.
Printjam erforscht so die Grenzen und Möglichkeiten der zeitgenössischen Druckgrafik. Durch das Kreuzen von Praktiken und das Verschmelzen von Ästhetiken stellt das Projekt die Frage nach Autor*innenschaft und definiert die Rolle des Individuums innerhalb eines kollektiven Rahmens neu.
