The undeniable favor you showed me made me feel chosen, protected, and forever special in your eyes. You played such a major part in raising me, and you never denied you had me spoiled rotten. I will always cherish our long 1 on 1 talks, making each other laugh and smile. With everything you went through while being ill, I know you were tired, and I thank you and i’m sooo proud you for holding on—not only for yourself but for the ones you loved most. I love you forever Grandma, and may you rest in heavenly peace. ❤️ 🕊️😪

This year has been nothing short of exceptional. I had the incredible honor of nominating nine juniors for prestigious scholarships—and every single one of them was selected. I’ve watched my very first class grow, mature, and walk across the stage as graduates, ready to take on the world with confidence and purpose.
Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of helping expose students to a wide range of colleges through tours, while educating them on the rich legacy and continued relevance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
There are moments when I second-guess myself, wondering if this field is where I’m truly meant to be. But then I see the impact—both big and small—and I’m reminded that I am walking in my purpose.🥂🎓🍎
