Earlier today, I had the honour of attending the launch of “Man of Many Frontiers”, the biography of Alhaji Khamis Tunde Badmus, the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, written by the renowned journalist and author, Egbon Lasisi Olagunju.
The occasion was not only a celebration of a remarkable literary work, but also a fitting tribute to an extraordinary man whose life has been defined by service, leadership, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to humanity. The launch coincided with Baba’s 80th birthday celebration, making the event even more memorable and significant.
It was inspiring to witness the gathering of eminent personalities, family members, friends, and well-wishers who came together to honour a man whose contributions have continued to leave a lasting impact across communities and generations.
I heartily congratulate Baba on attaining this remarkable milestone and pray that Almighty Allah grants him continued good health, greater wisdom, peace, and many more years of fruitful service to humanity and our society.

Today, I joined other state leaders at Fakunle High School to celebrate our hardworking men and women on this year’s Workers’ Day.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and renewed hope. The smiles and enthusiasm on the faces of our workers are a testament to the peace, fairness, and progress that the current administration has restored to the Osun State Civil Service. This marks a clear departure from the past era of half salaries, delayed promotions, and promotions without corresponding benefits.
One of the most remarkable highlights of the day was the overwhelming endorsement of His Excellency, the Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, by the labour force. This show of support reflects deep appreciation for a leadership that prioritises workers’ welfare and dignity.
Our workers have spoken with one voice, they are ready to reciprocate these gains through their continued support, mobilisation, and votes in the coming election.
Osun workers stand strong, united, and forward-looking.

Yesterday, I had the honour of joining His Excellency, the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, at the swearing-in ceremony of Corps Members for the 2026 Batch A, Stream II. It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and readiness of these young Nigerians as they embark on a new chapter of service to our nation.
Following the ceremony, we proceeded to Freedom Park, Osogbo, where members of the Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) gathered in solidarity to endorse the second-term bid of our performing Governor. This overwhelming show of support is a testament to the impactful leadership and people-centred governance that His Excellency has consistently demonstrated.
I am deeply grateful to have been present at this significant occasion and sincerely appreciate the honour bestowed upon me with an award by the Association. Such recognition only strengthens my resolve to continue serving the good people of Osun State with dedication and integrity.
