Artwork I originally made for the background of a show flyer, ended up scrapped till I reworked it weeks later.
Im not particularly attached to this one. I think its visually interesting. but the artwork itself is depthless and feels like something you would see in a smoke shop. I think its okay to make pieces that don’t have any meaning to you, but I don’t usually post anything anymore that is meaningless. they just sit in my archive, plenty like this, most half finished due to me losing interest. but this piece personally feels like a sort of pseudo intellectual thing, it looks like it has some sort of meaning but to me personally it doesn’t. it just stands to look interesting.

the alternative design i made for the @postcrucifixionband song “Fall and Bleed”
I think the design we went with was much better.
I do still like this one though, And I am happy with the work and how it came out. But because it didn’t get chosen it went into my archives. The artwork was finished, but because it got scrapped it never got text. lots of my friends mentioned icarus when i sent it for opinions, but my original inspiration was the fall of Lucifer from heaven, visually similar concepts though, winged individual falling from the sky.

playing with texture on an old photograph I took.
mainly me testing different techniques to achieve grit, texture, and visual noise. something you might not see well is the 2 different flower photos, layered on top of the edits to add various textures and discolorations. once you pay closer attention though you can see the flowers in the image.
