On our last day, we asked our guide from @munaakh_socotra_tours if we could fly the drone over the 2019 “Gulf Dove” shipwreck at sunset. He said yes, but only after checking with the nearby village. “they don’t really like drones.”

So we went.

No tension, no angry looks, just something way better. Kids climbing the wreck, fishing from the top, catching dinner as the sun was going down.
