Our North Minneapolis arts community is hosting this event to support our neighbors and friends in need. If you can donate work, attend the market and spread the word, that would be much appreciated. Our immigrant friends continue to shelter in fear of detainment and being separated from their families.
Financial assistance is one way we as artists and makers can support the community. There will be forging demos, hooks and metalwork for sale as well as baked goods and some sourdough loaves baked by us fresh day of. Hope to see you this Saturday the 14th of March 10am to 4pm !

Our first “Aqueduct” design and install. While we spend a lot of time designing naturalistic dry creeks and rain gardens, we’ve revisited a more historic take on moving water with a slight modern feel. The aqueduct will move water from an approx 1400 SF rooftop, through the downspouts and funneled onto the ramp that will make its way to a future mademade bog.
Working with @primitiveprecision to make this happen has been so amazing and we are so excited to see their grate design, fill with river stone flats and plant with native bog plants and trees. Can’t wait to share more!

We’ve been working on these galvanized and powdercoated steel boardwalks the last couple of months for @shelterdesigns and @hagehomes and finally the moment arrived to install this last week. Along with our crane for offloading, two vans full of snacks, tools and battery welders to join and secure all the sections, @gandhidopedealer@_mereditth@parisbrom and @audrexfractal sailed expertly through the two day install allowing for us to meet an important deadline so this rad property in Shell Lake Wisconsin could be photographed in all its unique glory. Stay tuned for some final shots of the staircase we also built for the interior last spring!

Meet Paris, our new shop manager here at Primitive Precision. He’s got a knack for efficiency and creative problem solving. We won’t say the place was in shambles before he started a few months ago, but since he’s begun updating, repairing and maintaining the shop, our team has been able to focus more on tackling the unique projects we so humbly love to bring to life for our clients.
After evolving as a fabricator for PPM from 2016- 2020, Paris moved to Denver, Co to live the mountain life for a while and gained some pretty intense sculpture building experience while fabricating and installing for Juno works. When he and his fiancé decided to move back to the midwest, we jumped on offering him a position with us and we are very grateful to have him back!
When not keeping track of our fabrication projects and shop updates, Paris is an avid social butterfly, motorcycle lover, mountain biker and pinstriping enthusiast. He also truly enjoys time with his family and friends and exploring/camping on his time off. As long as we’ve known him, he has also been a gregarious pillar of support within our community of artists and makers in town. Thanks for being here with us Paris!
