Believe it or not.. this beautiful piece of kit started out as a bunch of logs that the custom sourced from his local area.
It took over a year to produce this super special snare drum!
I started by milling the logs into useable planks and then air drying them to the ideal moisture content before ripping the boards down into segments, and then constructing the drum shell.
What a great project I had the pleasure of producing for one of my most loyal customers 😊
