Need a boost of motivation to do your assignments or prep for finals? Join us this Monday for a group study session! We’ll have four 25-minute pomodoro sessions with check-ins in between to keep each other accountable. Oh, and, free matcha for the first 10 people to sign up (yumm)! 🍵📚

Here is the itinerary for our Gala! Keep in mind, our schedule is tentative and subject to change based on timing the actual day of the event. We recommend coming to the event before 7:30pm to ensure you have time to eat food from our buffet.
5:45pm: Doors open, guests enter and get settled
6:15-6:30pm: Food is served from our buffet, vegan and gluten free options will be available
6:30-7:00pm: Speakers from our club, the 519 charity, and other club donors will speak
7-7:30pm: Surround Sound will perform!
7:30-8: Dinner will wrap up and we will transition the space for our drag performance
8:00-8:40pm: Messy Margaret’s drag performance!
9-10pm: SuckSiren will DJ!
10pm: Gala Ends
Additionally, we have made changes to our donor/collaborator list! The list of UofT clubs that are donating are VicPride, NewPride, and AroSpace. The list of clubs who are collaborating are PrideSMC and Out@Innis . We sincerely thank all of our donors/collaborators for their help with this wonderful event :)

Happy Pride Month 🌈 SMC! This month is not only one of celebration 🎉 and expression, but one of advocacy 🗣️ and representation 🏳️🌈.
This year will mark 53 years since Pride came to prominence in Toronto, beginning in 1971 when the Community of Homophile Association of Toronto and Toronto Gay Action held a gathering to unite the queer community. Today, Church and Wellesley - also known as “The Village” - is the epicentre of Toronto’s LGBTQ+ communities and the host of the City’s annual Pride Festival 🎊.
We strive to be inclusive of all genders and sexual orientations. In doing so, SMCSU embodies the core values of the University of St. Michael’s College: human dignity, community, social justice, service, and sustainability. We hope that you take this month (and all year round) to consider these values and ensure that SMC is a safe space for everyone! 🏳️🌈💖
