The Pride Signs Social Committee had the incredible opportunity to spend an afternoon volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton. It was a meaningful experience that allowed us to support our valued partners with McDonald’s in a truly impactful way.
During our visit, we were given a tour of the house and saw firsthand the vital programs and compassionate support provided to families while their children are receiving hospital care. Understanding the scope of what they do—from providing a "home away from home" to offering a sense of community during difficult times—was incredibly moving.
Our team spent the afternoon in the kitchen, helping prepare meals for the families staying at the house. It was a rewarding way to contribute, knowing that a hot meal can make a world of difference at the end of a long day.
We left feeling inspired by the dedication of the RMHC staff and grateful for the chance to give back. A huge thank you to the team at RMHC Hamilton for welcoming us!
