Looking to connect, grow, and build community? We’re excited to introduce a brand new group at the Pride Center of New Jersey! 🌈
Trans Blessed is a trans oriented support group and social club whose main goal is to allow space for vulnerability and connection to flourish. The first half of the meeting is centered around a guided question, allowing members to discuss and look both inward and outward. Some meetings include a guided activity, such as collages and other forms of arts and crafts. The second half of the meeting is based around connection, where we allow time for members to decompress and get to know each other.
Despite our name, this is NOT a religiously affiliated group.

As these programs continue to grow, we wanted to create a space that better highlights the importance of LGBTQ+ youth support and makes these resources easier for young people, parents, caregivers, and community members to access.

Today is Denim Day 💙
Denim Day began as a protest against harmful victim-blaming. Today, it’s a call to stand with survivors and challenge the myths that still persist around consent.
At the Pride Center of New Jersey, we know that members of the LGBTQ+ community (especially trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people) face higher rates of sexual violence and are too often dismissed or not believed.
Clothing, identity, expression—none of it is ever an excuse.
