Pride Action North is launching a new LGBTQIA+ Youth Group based in the Outer West of Newcastle. It will be free to attend and open to young people aged 13-18.

Are you joining the Trans Rights Read-a-thon? 📖
Started in 2023, the Trans Rights Read-a-thon is a way for booklovers to support Trans Day of Visibility. The idea is simple: just read as many trans books as you can and donate to trans people or organisations, if you have the funds. Any book with a trans author or trans main character counts, although we encourage you to prioritise trans voices.
While it officially runs from 17-31 March, it's always a good time to be supporting trans books! We've included a few recommendations to get you started - you can check content warnings on sites like StoryGraph. Or, if you're looking for something a bit different, click on the links below for plenty more suggestions.

On this day, we celebrate all of the incredible trans people in our lives and the amazing things they have achieved. With the current rollback of trans rights, it is now more important than ever to uplift and support the trans community, particularly Black and Brown trans women who are at the highest risk of violence.
We encourage you to stand up for the trans community in whatever way you can, whether this is sending love to a trans friend or family member, educating yourself, or supporting trans organisations/events.
