This is my homie for life, Riyaad. We met in high school and became family. He was raised Muslim but yesterday, he was baptized in the Lord. 🙌🏽
Watching his journey has strengthened my faith in two powerful ways:
1. The power of a praying spouse.
His wife never stopped praying. She stayed patient, answered questions with grace, remained steady through years of searching, and trusted God even when the process was long and unclear. Her faithfulness reminds me that persistent prayer carries weight, even when change feels slow.
2. We plant seeds without always seeing the harvest.
His wife’s parents prayed for him faithfully but went home to be with the Lord before seeing this moment. I’ve personally sat with Riyaad and prayed, not knowing if we would ever witness this breakthrough. But God, in His faithfulness and kindness, allowed us to see the fruit in this lifetime.
Let this be a reminder: never stop praying for your people. God’s timing is never late, and no prayer is ever wasted. 🤍
