Picante Salsa Bachata Weekender 2026 Announces Official Sponsorship Partnership Affiliate with the Puerto Rican Institute for Arts and Advocacy, Inc. Supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts under the leadership of Artist, Lydia Pérez.
Providence, RI. Picante Salsa Bachata Weekender (PSBW) 2026, a premier dance arts exhibition and cultural experience in New England, is proud to announce its official sponsorship partnership with the Puerto Rican Institute for Arts and Advocacy, Inc., with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, for its upcoming 2026 edition.
Recognized as a dynamic and inclusive platform, PSBW brings together artists, educators, and communities through a carefully curated program that highlights the richness and evolution of Latin dance arts. The event serves not only as a performance and educational space, but as a vital ecosystem dedicated to cultural preservation, artistic innovation, and equitable representation.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to amplifying cultural initiatives and investing in community driven programming that uplifts diverse voices across Rhode Island and the greater New England region.
