Michael DeForge is an author and illustrator in Toronto. His published books include All The Cameras In My Room, Holy Lacrimony, Birds of Maine, Heaven No Hell, Familiar Face and Leaving Richard's Valley. His illustrations have been featured in Jacobin, The LA Times, The Walrus, and Bloomberg Business Week. He's written for SSENSE, Lux Magazine and Canadian Dimension.
🐠 @michaeldeforgecomics will be at PGF promoting his new book, All The Cameras In My Room from @drawnandquarterly . He'll be signing books and participating in the programming in live interview + Q&A - both the signing and interview will be free to the public 🐠

👄 PGF is a one-day comics & small press festival, this year featuring special guests and programming - alongside 100+ vendors selling comics, zines, artist books, and many, many other forms of limited-run printed artwork.

Are you looking for a way to get involved with Pretty Good Fest 2025 but don’t know where to start? Well look no further! Our volunteer sign up form is LIVE in our bio and ready for you!
We need volunteers between 9am and midnight on fest day (October 4th in case you forgot) and have tons of shifts available so you can tailor the day to your schedule. Volunteers will receive a free exclusive Pretty Good Fest t-shirt to wear during their shift and as a thank you for their time.
And while we’re here, don’t forget to come to our free fundraising event/screening in collaboration with @maltadult at @quimbysbookstore this Saturday September 6th from 5-7 pm!
Hark! Exciting news from the land of Pretty Good Fest!
Next Saturday (Sept 6) 🦇 Harrison Wyrick and Parker Davis will be hosting a screening sponsored by Chicago alternative animation stalwarts Malt Adult at the legendary Quimby's Bookstore!
Volunteer sign-ups and general hanging out begin at 5pm, and the screening begins at 6pm. 🦇 FREE!!
