Star ‘em from our Strava event (link in bio) and get ready to 💥 ! Spicy Sunday is an intermediate ride perfect for women & nonbinary riders who want to test your limits in a low pressure environment. If you’ve ever been race-curious or just wanna see what it feels like to get pushed in a supportive environment, this is the ride for you! Gain confidence and get better at handling your bike in group rides or races. Women’s beginner races start at the Driveway on April 23rd, so this is a great chance to learn:   Position: Learn how and when to ride in your drops, how to feather your brakes, and what a good bike fit should feel like   Balance: Get comfortable riding close to other riders, standing on your bike, grabbing water bottles and how to protect your front wheel   Movement: Learn how to corner and carry speed through turns Racing Basics: We’ll explain the basics of a Driveway race, including rules, categories, pits and primes; and then we’ll divide into teams and have a short practice race.

2026 Driveway Race Clinics! The full clinic schedule is live on @bikereg ! Join @supersquadra & some @breakfastclubatx Ride Leaders for the first clinic of the season! We’ll focus on intro to road racing and group ride best practices and safety skills. If you’ve ever been race-curious, this is a great way to get started! Join us THIS SATURDAY for the annual Rapha Women’s 100, an Austin tradition and international event! 👯‍♀️ We’ve put together a new route this year starting at Austin Beerworks - Sprinkle Valley that rolls to Elgin and New Sweden. We also have some ride support including a mid-ride stop and a beer tab at the finish. It’s a super family friendly venue so bring out the fam! Ride Start: Saturday 9/13 at @austinbeerworks Sprinkle Valley on Springdale Meet at 7:30am for iced coffee and pastries. Bring yer own matcha! 🤪 Trek will be around for maintenance help Rider meeting at 8 and then we roll! Pace Groups: There will be friends of the ride leading A, B, and C paces, but this is still a self-supported ride. Make sure you have the route, a flat kit, and a pal that will stick with you when the miles get hard! @prettyfast__ will be leading the A Pace @violetcrowncycling will be rolling at a B Pace (~16-17mph) @teamsnacks will be cruising at a C Pace (~14-15mph) Rest Stops: There is one official stop, at the gas station in Elgin, but there are plenty of gas stations on the route. Please make sure you stay fueled and hydrated! Post-Ride: Beers and yapping courtesy of Rapha and Pretty Fast! The return of Spicy Sunday™️! We’ve been really missing this ride and after a few years, we can say it still hits. There were sprints, baby mini ponies, and even the opportunity to tell a dude he indeed could not join our ride 😜😎. Super cool to end at Austin’s women’s sports bar @1972pub where we watched the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes race. Thanks to everyone who joined and brought the good vibes. Look out for our next date!
