Stage 3 @prestonzly live painting yesterday. As you all know I love to paint live - it’s a true expression of how I’m feeling at the time LOVE PEACE and HARMONY 🔥 FYI this is part of the door prize for those who attended over the weekend Woohoo! We have everyone’s name.
Thank the lord I only had one can - I get so in the zone I could have painted all night. This is exactly how I work as an artist and a designer. I’m a freestyle freethinker what you see is what you get! The winner of this piece of art and a pair of beautiful shoes from @prestonzly will be drawn this week! So watch this space Kx

The bubbles were bubbling - The music was getting TURNED UP and the fashion was fashioning - I haven’t even gotten to the painting live portion of the event yet. I hope I haven’t missed anyone out 🤪. What a great hostess 🖤
This Friday 5–8pm and Saturday 11–5pm - come to the showroom to see @aka.artwear ’s collection of one-off, wearable art pieces.
I’m lucky enough to have a few of her pieces in my own wardrobe, and they’ve become real staples. Flexible pieces that work just as well in summer as they do layered over woollies and long underwear, keeping the Melbourne cold at bay.
I love the unexpected colour combinations - and whenever I wear her work, I’m guaranteed to get compliments.
And they have pockets. Big pockets.
Kaye will be in the showroom across both days, painting garments live - and we have an exciting door prize.

It sits naturally alongside what we do - a shared edge, just expressed in a different language.
Hand-painted. Altered. You can see the process in every piece.
Over two days, Kaye will be in-store for you to meet and there will be live painting of garments (and of course we will be popping the bubbly).

Most of you will already know his work through Preston Zly - in the toe shapes, the heels, the components.
This is where those ideas are pushed further.

Two Saturdays ago, we opened the showroom for something unique and very special.
22 extraordinary women together to celebrate @karabakercouture as she showed her recent F**k the Invisible Runway in our intimate showroom.
Kara and I discussed each outfit in detail - talking about how each item was designed - the inspiration behind each piece and how they came to be.
The intricate details. The history.
The construction.
The precision you don’t fully understand until you’re standing in front of it.
Our mutual clients finally met to share the love and it warmed the cockles of both our hearts!
Thank you to the women who came - we hope you felt it too!
