We have now set a date for the first meeting of our next consultation group which will be entitled ‘Social Prescribing & Health.’ 😁
This will take place from 10am-Noon on Friday, May 1 at Preston Town Hall.
As we have previously mentioned, this will be a ‘round table’ type discussion group with only a loose agenda for guidance and we will be guided by any issues the attendees see fit to bring up
There’s still time to get involved if you wish to do so.
Just drop us an email to [email protected] and we will provide further information.
Opportunity to use costumes for community group sessions 🌟
Jackie Haynes will be exhibiting costumes from her former fancy dress hire shop between 8th and 30th May at Birley Studios.
If you run a community group and would enjoy access to the costumes, you are invited to run one of your group sessions at Birley Studios. During the session, the gallery will be closed to the public and Jackie will facilitate use of the costumes.
The exhibition will feature the costumes, new artwork and an archive telling the story of Jackie’s fancy dress hire shop, House of Haynes.

We have had a fantastic response to news of our next PCN networking event, which
will be held next week.😁
However, due to circumstances beyond our control, the original venue of St Cuthbert’s Church Centre is now unavailable, so we have switched to an alternative venue which is the Annex at the Gujarat Society Community Centre, South Meadow Lane, Preston PR1
8JN.
All other arrangements such as date, time and format will remain the same. We hope to see you there! 🎉
