I found an old photo of this nice pair of guitars I made in 1990 while I was at the London College of Furniture. Pretty Birdseye maple on the left and I think it was Santos Rosewood on the right
2nd guitar to head into the finishing shop. Rosewood and Englemann spruce 000. Back to work tomorrow so it’s next week for the finishing process to start.
The guitar that doesn’t want to be made. I started this guitar three years ago. It’s been a struggle to get it completed. Fingerboard has been off twice. Truss rod snapped. I had to reset the neck and a big job was replacing the back. It’s finally ready for the spray booth. After all that I think it’s going to be a good sounding guitar.
