The starting point was the cover. Sirio Color Lampone 290gsm selected for its rich tone and natural texture, giving immediate presence in a bold square format. Detail is introduced through process. A blind deboss to both front and back covers adds depth and structure — a subtle intervention that relies on light and shadow rather than print or foil. Inside, Munken ID Pure Rough 150gsm continues the tactile experience. The uncoated surface softens the print slightly, giving imagery and typography a more organic, editorial quality. The result is a cover that immediately signals quality the moment it’s picked up. To create contrast and dimension, the logo is finished with Foilco Prism Gold foil, which has also been embossed. The combination of foil and emboss adds depth and structure, allowing the mark to catch the light while giving the cover a subtle three-dimensional detail. Interior Foil, in Practice For Bordelle, the objective was to create a shipping box that felt refined while remaining practical for transit. The structure begins with E-flute board, providing rigidity while keeping the overall profile lightweight for shipping. To elevate the interior experience, the flute is lined with Munken Pure Rough Cream 170gsm — chosen for its soft tone and tactile, uncoated surface. The result is a warmer, more considered interior finish than a standard corrugated pack. Branding is introduced subtly through foil applied to the inside lid. The logo and the message “This box is recyclable” are revealed only when the box is opened, a small detail that adds quiet impact without interrupting the clean exterior. A restrained exterior. Tintoretto Ceylon Black Pepper selected for its deep tone and distinctive felt texture, giving the packaging a tactile, premium presence from the first touch. Rather than relying on printed graphics, the branding is introduced through gold foil (6220) applied to the inner liner. The foil catches light subtly against the dark sheet, creating contrast while keeping the exterior intentionally restrained. Structurally, the box is built using E-flute board, lined on both sides with Tintoretto to maintain consistency of material inside and out. Clear Foil, on Unprinted Stock For the Accel Summit 2025, the objective was to create a retail bag that felt considered from the moment it was picked up. The starting point was material. Colorplan Racing Green 270gsm selected for its depth of colour and natural, uncoated texture. Rather than introducing printed graphics, the branding is delivered through clear gloss foil. Applied directly to the unprinted sheet, the foil catches the light subtly, creating contrast through reflection rather than colour. Once foiled, the sheets were die-cut and constructed into the final bag form, with a matching grosgrain ribbon handle introduced for durability and tactility.
