Generative Scribing, one of the Social Arts we practice at Presencing Institute, expands our capacity of listening, co-sensing and sharing what is emerging in a collective setting. Practitioners Reilly Dow (Mexico) and Andrea Fernandez (Argentina) have worked closely with Kelvy Bird in the translation of her book to Spanish and the development of the introductory course on generative scribing for Spanish-speaking audiences. The 2nd edition of this course will start on May 30, and registration is still open. It runs for 4 Saturdays and includes both theory and practice. [SOUND ON] Last week's #PresencingSeries session was dedicated to "connecting to Source." This animated scribing from artist Jayce Pei Yu Lee @leejayce takes us on a visual journey through the exploration of the session. The session was not only a moment of presence and centering in our current reality - but also brought forward a new experiment in #SocialArts practice created by Arawana Hayashi @arawanahayashi , Antonio Moya-Latorre, Jayce Pei Yu Lee, and Antoinette Klatzky @antoinette.klatzky . The practice invited the entire community there, to explore how do we cultivate our capacity to access others ways of knowing, our ability to relate to the unknown, and to co-create from a place that is truly and essentially human. [SOUND ON] "One Thing I Can Do" - An animated scribing from @leejayce How do we stay connected to our work of serving what is wanting to emerge while we are surrounded by collapse? ...As the ground is shifting? ... over the weekend artist Jayce Pei Yu Lee shared this new creation with the team holding and producing #PresencingSeries2026 as a we sensed into what the current moment is asking of us now: "I went to sleep with an unsettling feeling and uneasiness of outbreak of the war in Middle East, and I woke up with a sense of staying with what is unfolding at this moment…. I went through some of those animated scribings I did for PI and edited a couple of clips together. Liz (Yu-Jung Li) created this soundtrack back in 2023 for our local Social Presencing Theater book reading community session.
