Thank you thank you thank you to our sweetest little group of friends and siblings/cousins who were able to make it to our chaotically planned little ceremony/to celebrate us afterwards. Special shoutout to Sarita for making our paper rings, painting my nails, and all the other little things you did for me as my maid of honor; to Ari for spending your college graduation night driving down to LA with the three of us and being the chillest, funniest brother-in-law ever; to Sienna for marrying us and making us feel so known and loved with your words; to Willa for taking these magical photos in the midst of such an exhausting week for you and for getting them to us as quickly as humanly possible; and to Shreya, Sai, Runa, Sunit, Shaina, and Arun for the showering of love, flowers, champagne, adjusting my bouquet/Aubrey’s tie, showing up early to scope out our location, taking time on your one day off in weeks to be there, etc. We feel so loved. ❤️

💙🩵💙💍 We’re engaged!! 11/25/24 💍💙🩵💙 Aubrey, I always think I could not possibly love and adore you more than I already do, and then you do something like you did yesterday. The proposal was the most amazing, magical thing I could have imagined despite any unforeseen circumstances (read: bomb cyclone wind doing its best to knock us over), and that’s a perfect way to describe our relationship. We have stood by each other through every kind of storm and done so with so much love and warmth and affection for each other always. I constantly marvel at how whether we’re going on dates or just running our weekly errands, every experience with you feels like being in a bubble that’s just the two of us against the world. In February of 2017, you and I went on our first date, and I was immediately ruined for anyone else, because nothing else would ever compare to the feeling I have when I’m with you. I love you, I love you, I love you so much and thank god I can finally stop having to call you my boyfriend. “Fiancé” will hopefully stop making me so giddy sometime soon. -Prerana 💙 When most people say they love you, it’s bound by expectation, time or space, or an ideal of what you might be. With you, I know it’s unconditional. I know you aren’t with me for looks, career, money, or status (if you are, you could do a lot better 🤣). We have seen the other’s best and worst and many other things besides, and never have I doubted your love, loyalty, and support. They say the best is yet to come, but not being an optimist, I know whatever comes we will have each other’s back and my optimist will give me the perspective to face what’s next. Happy 30th birthday, love of my life. It feels quite surreal looking back at 29 and all the different lives we’ve lived in that time. Whichever ones we find ourselves in this year, I hope you continue to have the softest hair, the warmest snuggles, and the most obscenely delicious meals. And I hope this year/decade bring you more joy than your twenties ever knew. I love you…and so does every animal that ever meets you. Thank god I married you. 😘
