On July 29-30, PREFACE and @here_after_events + @denimdudes will once again unite for a two-day Los Angeles event.   The show will bring together PREFACE’s curated fabric and manufacturing suppliers with a thoughtfully selected series of talks and panel discussions from Here|After + Denim Dudes   Plus, @brew_creative will return this season, presenting insightful trend outside of denim.   Expect an experience that’s purposeful, inspiring, and alive with possibility. Some rooms just feel right. @preface_show textile trend show @denimdudes curated denim section @here_after_events programming @reassembly_official upcycling competition If you were there… you know. The conversations, the vibe, the denim, the connection. It felt creative and alive. This pilot was something special. Female founders in the industry coming together to experiment, collaborate, and build something different. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared your thoughts, connected, and leaned into the vision. We hope you left inspired, excited, and a little more hopeful about where the industry is going. A production issue with a batch of quality studded denim jeans left the pieces unwearable, but still full of potential. Instead of letting the studded denim go to waste, @reformation partnered with Homeboy Threads to remove the hardware, reclaim the fabric, and give it new life as feedstock for the @reassembly_official up-cycling challenge at @preface_show . The designers transformed the denim into something fresh, bold, and entirely new (swipe for the final result). Proof that imperfection is opportunity. Some tools quietly shape entire careers. For decades, JUKI machines have been part of studio floors, late nights, and first collections — trusted because they just work. We’re thrilled to be teaming up with the lovely ladies behind Here|After and Denim Dudes for our upcoming LA event. Here|After - the event series by Denim Dudes founder Amy Leverton and veteran writer / producer Erin Barajas - focuses on creating intimate, elevated community experiences that feature trend and market insights alongside panels and presentations spotlighting innovators, brands/designers, supply chain disruptors and sustainability leads in the denim and fashion space.    As PREFACE’s programming partner they will produce a selection of one-on-one conversations and panels exploring how companies are integrating resale, reclaiming heritage, and re-engineering design for the circular economy; the state of Made in LA apparel production; and daily presentations of Denim Dudes’ Spring / Summer 2027 trend forecast and market insights. The full programming roster will be announced soon!   Alongside Here|After’s programming, Denim Dudes will host a curated section of supply chain friends, from denim mills and manufacturers to technology companies helping to inspire and fuel future sourcing for the jeanswear industry.  Exhibitors include: Orta, Desert Studio, Iskur, Isko, Realteks, Strom, Maritas, Denimai, LAB Denim, and more   Apply on the preface website for an opportunity to visit the @labdeniminc DTLA studio and tour their innovation lab.
