👏🏻 Predatory Void unveil ‘New Moon’ the 2nd single from their EP titled ‘Atoned in Metamorphosis‘. An eclectic surge of sound that draws from sludge, doom, black metal, hardcore as well as contrasting moments of melancholy. Manic riffs, demonic drums and vocals that move from disdainful soliloquy, to shrieks of rage to a wailing hook haunt this track. Predatory Void through blistering passion and staggering precision bring inner turmoil and confrontation straight to the nerve and smother us unmercifully. ‘New Moon’ is a dynamic track exhibiting the bands ability to snatch attention, build upon compositions and expose depth of feeling. The band comment: “New Moon was the first song we wrote for the EP and set the tone for what followed. It reflects a relentless chase for wholeness that always ends in emptiness, mirroring the moon’s endless cycle.”

Already almost 2 weeks ago but we can still feel the goosebumps: the delicacy of the contrast between these three approaches to heavy music was intense that night at @blitz_music_club with Predatory Void, Bipolar Architecture and Stenny. It showed once more that the cathartic element of music can be delivered through black-gaze riffing just the same as through unsettling electronic sounds.
Stenny opened with a hypnotic drone set - a pulsating, meditative soundscape, that already shifted the atmosphere into something just as immersive as what was about to come.
Bipolar Architecture followed with an equally electrifying presence, weaving together crushing heaviness and intricate textures. Predatory Void closed the night with a massive and deeply dynamic set, pushing the room through waves of tension and release. With Lina’s desperate yet invigorating vocals and every scream bursting with raw intensity, pulling the room straight into their dark, volatile energy.
Thanks to everyone who came out on a Sunday evening supporting subculture, and trusting us in making cultural spaces accessible for all kinds of music.
