Meet cofounder @sarahjhoge ✨ Sarah Hoge is a choreographer and performer who has worked professionally in theater, film, and commercial dance for nearly two decades. She spent fourteen seasons as a Radio City Rockette, performing in both the New York production and the Christmas Across America tour. Sarah has danced for artists including Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Flo Rida, and Kacey Musgraves, and her performance credits span major television, award shows, and live events. Some appearances include Saturday Night Live (Sam Rockwell), America’s Got Talent, The Tony Awards, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Live with Kelly and Ryan, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The MTV VMAs, Michael Bublé’s Christmas Special, Project Runway, The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting Ceremony, The Today Show, The View, Ellen, Law & Order, A Very Kacey Christmas on Amazon, A Holiday Spectacular on the Hallmark Channel, USO partnership performances, and the MLB Home Run Derby. Sarah has taught numerous Rockette Summer Intensives and Rockette Experiences, specializing in precision-based jazz, tap, and ballet. She is the Co-Founder of The Precision Dance Collective, created to elevate dancers’ training as they prepare for careers in the performing arts with a focus on precision dance. Most recently, Sarah’s choreography has been featured at the Commercial Dance Intensive at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and the Junior Youth Program at Broadway Dance Center. #PrecisionDanceCollective

Meet Co-Founder, @kwalk713 ✨ In 2008, Katie became a Radio City Rockette and in her 15 years with the company, has held the role of assistant dance captain, swing, dance captain and assistant choreographer. As a Rockette, Katie performed at The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, America’s Got Talent, The Annual White House Christmas Party and The Today Show. In 2015 and 2016, Katie helped develop, choreograph and stage the NY Spring Spectacular and the NY Spectacular alongside Warren Carlyle and Mia Michaels. As an assistant choreographer, Katie helped direct and choreograph for the Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, USO Partnership Performances, America’s Got Talent, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Special and a Hallmark Channel Movie “A Holiday Spectacular”. She has had the honor to serve as rehearsal director and assistant to Linda Haberman with The Verdon Fosse® Legacy’s “Sweet Gwen Suite”. She is the co-founder of The Precision Dance Collective, which hosts monthly workshops and annual performances with a focus on precision dance training. Katie is currently a choreographer in New York City. Her work was recently performed for Pace University’s Commercial Dance DanceSpace Performance, BDC Professional Semester and Steps On Broadway Industry Showcase. She is on faculty at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center and is an adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College. #ThePrecisionDanceCollective

Welcome to The Precision Dance Collective! We’re Katie Walker Henein and Sarah Grooms Hoge, and we collectively have over 30 years of experience in the precision dance world. We’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve been building over the last six months, and we’re bringing it all to fruition in the studio and on stage in 2023!✨ The Precision Dance Collective was born out of an idea to fine tune a dancer’s technique all the while building confidence, feeling empowered both in the studio and on the stage, and enjoying both the journey and the performance! Join us August 17th-20th for an inspiring few days of training, growth, and industry insight alongside some of the best in the business. Rooted in intentional, focused work, this program blends precision-based technique and choreography with the opportunity to learn directly from working industry professionals. Throughout the week, dancers will be challenged to refine their musicality, clarity, versatility, and performance presence within a supportive, fast-paced environment. The experience also includes a mock audition led by a casting director and industry choreographer, offering valuable real-time insight into the expectations of a professional audition setting. On the final day, dancers will participate in a professionally filmed concept video shoot, stepping into a true on-camera environment and gaining firsthand experience with the focus, adaptability, and awareness required for dancing on a set.
