Introducing Ernesto “Precise” Galarza, a Pacoima, California native whose passion for Street Dance has shaped a dynamic career as a performer, educator, and creative leader. Ernesto was first introduced to Street Dance by Los Angeles artists and pioneers Jackie “Miss Funk” Lopez and Leigh “Breeze-Lee” Foaad, whose mentorship helped lay the foundation for his artistic journey.
In 2015, Ernesto graduated from UCLA with a degree in World Arts and Cultures/Dance and a minor in Visual and Performing Arts Education. During his time in college, he began working with the renowned Los Angeles non-profit and professional Hip-Hop/Street Dance theater company, Versa-Style Street Dance Company, where he continues to play an integral role today.
With more than 21 years of experience in Street Dance culture and performance, Ernesto is currently a full-time working artist whose work spans multiple creative disciplines. He is a professional touring dancer, Artistic Director of Versa-Style Legacy, Director of Digital Media and Marketing for Versa-Style, professional videographer, and dedicated Street Dance teaching artist.
Committed to lifelong learning, Ernesto continues to train, evolve, and deepen his craft every day with the mission of preserving Street Dance culture, sharing knowledge, and inspiring future generations of artists.
