Next time you walk into moCa, look up and enjoy “Indigo Banner”. Designed by Tony Williams and brought to life through the hands of over 600 Cleveland residents. Each square carries its own mark, stamped in wax with African symbols and dyed in rich natural indigo grown right here in Ohio.
This is apart of our Ohio Now exhibition that includes work from over 15 different Ohio artists, currently at moCa Cleveland through August 2, 2026.
Project made possible by @praxisfiberworkshop , Cuyahoga50, @cityofcleveland , and @clevefoundation .
Free admission for all residents who live and learn in Ohio.
