"𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱" - 𝟲 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗦! Throughout 2017 and 2018, countless questions swirled in our minds as we contemplated purchasing Pratis Barns. "Imagine if we could" became our mantra - then and now - and you know what? Yes, we can. We absolutely can, and on April 1st, 2019, the journey began. We're a husband and wife team with three children under ten years old, working every weekend from April to Christmas! But we can do this - we've got this! We love it! It's all thanks to our amazing team and our wonderful couples and clients. Our vision is slowly becoming a reality. Looking after people is what we do, and creating occasions for people to come together makes us "tick." There have been some hiccups - there always are - but we have never wavered from our belief that these buildings, built in 1797, could be the best place for gathering and celebrating life in all its glory. We have the opportunity to create something truly special. They say Rome wasn't built in a day, and while we have many more plans for Pratis, they'll take more time... and something else! As we hit six years as custodians of Pratis, what we find most incredible is the humbling support and positive feedback we receive. It's true what they say: if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. It's your chance to get a real taste of what your wedding at Pratis could look (and taste) like. Pratis playing one of hottest filming locations around... a little different from the weddings you’re used to seeing here. Last year brought lights, cameras, a full film crew and a completely new kind of “set up” across the barns and grounds, an incredible reminder of just how versatile our spaces can be. When floral meadow is the brief we are your people 🤍 A sweetheart table with hanging florals and foliage, flower meadows and potted living plants, gorgeous olive napkins, personalized ribbon name places, charger plates and candlelight … what’s not to love ❤️ #olivegreen #floralmeadow #maybride @pratisbarns @ambiencevenuestylinguk

We love something a little bit different so a grounded floral arch was just our thing for this weekends wedding @pratisbarns … and what an amazing space to style 😍😍😍 Constructed in 6 separate sections so that they could later be placed in front of the ‘sweetheart table’ we started the florals with masses of white Nigella with the faintest touch of blue. It’s so textured and the heads ‘bob about’ perfectly to give a hint of movement and meadow feel. When placed together the sections looked seamless and like one continuous arrangement ❤️ Pink and white scented stocks were added in next, followed by white hydrangea and roses. Lots of the leaves and foliage that would often be striped away during prep was left on to give the most natural feeling of ‘grown in situ’. Luxurious extra wide floor length olive silk ribbons set off the aisle for a simple, timeless and truly elegant ceremony. It was so pretty when the breeze came though the barn and the ribbons fluttered 🎀 You all know me … I LOVE a good bow!! #floralarch #meadowflowers #olivewedding

There are some days where everything just comes together absolutely perfectly - Faith and Stuart’s was one of those.
