‘Eclipse’ is part of Istanbul Bienale of the 17th edition. The project reflects the violence, trauma, and memories of the murdered writer Avijit Roy, publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan and exiled publisher Ahmedur Rashid Chowdhury Tutul. Weaving together factual and personal narratives, photographs, texts, found materials, and literary works, Eclipse unfolds the condition of human rights and their inner contradictions in contemporary Bangladesh.
