Finally, happy to launch our first video of @wutangindonesia , introducing our kung fu school to Indonesia. Doing proper martial arts is not easy, it takes time, it requires discipline. But by the end of the day, it also brings joy to me personally, an investment with such a huge return. This is long overdue but I guess I have to write it down if I wish to move on, even if it’s just a small step. Thank you @khs.kikihan for making a post about mom a couple of days ago because it gives me the strength to finish the first part of my letter to her. For almost 2 years, I struggle with my own feeling, not knowing how to deal with grief. A feeling that is non existent for the first 40 years of my life. And thus, I am unable to solve it because death is final and irreversible. Indeed, no matter how much I tried to fill my time with all those work and extracurricular activities, I cannot escape that indescribable feeling perfectly encapsulated by Where Our Blue Is. Perhaps one day I will finally move on. I don’t know. But right now, I understand that I am in the process of self-discovery (as much as I cringe myself writing it) as suggested by @dwicahya.prasetya , and I must, for the benefit of others, move forward without any shred of doubt. Why? Because I can only fight for something with 100% effort if I put all my heart for it and finishing this letter is an absolute necessity. It’s part of my self-therapy anyway. It feels surreal but it's the reality. Gone to soon at the age of 66, I would be forever missing my mom, Erna Dewina. I wrote a tribute to her in my blog and link can be found at my Instagram bio (/2024/01/life-begins-at-40-tribute-to-my-mom.html?m=1). Since all of what I have to say (at least for now) are already discussed in my blog post, I will make this quick. My mom is that one soft spot in my pitch black frozen heart. And that alone speaks more than whatever amount of words that I can write to describe how important she is to me. I might or might not be able to recover from the pain. For once in a blue moon, there is a thing that even I am not confident with. But I will of course try. All members of this family are fighters and survivors, so we will persevere. See you among the stars, Mom. Cheers to a life well lived and here are some of my favorite moments of you. More to come.
