thank you for listening and sharing with me what these songs mean to you. streams and playlists are fun, letās not pretend itās not, but i am sure glad that itās coming from a place of connection and not just because it sounds good on the surface.
one day iāll have the words to talk about all the things that lead to this project (no it wasnāt a bad breakupš) but for now, i hope you can find a sense of comfort from this. and just because i wrote the songs, doesnāt mean lessons learned - still very much so being challenged by the lyrics daily, and maybe thatās the point.
in terms of whatās next, i hope you know your colour theoryā¦

I named it that because a lot of my songs are about growth, seasons and change - about life in general.
my hope is that it meets you where youāre at, whether at a high place, a low place, or somewhere in the middle; I hope youāre able to see how far youāve come š

when I released my first album, I had a bit of an identity crisis immediately after. I felt the pressure of trying to top what Iād released before. I didnāt know what my sound was, and everything I tried to make was just trash in my opinion š¤£
so I stopped, and just decided to live a bit. I didnāt write, didnāt create anything, until I missed it so much that I started to create out of necessity and not to prove anything, and thatās where this EP is birthed from.
Iāve lived a bit of life since the last project, and Iāve changed a lot too, and I think thatās evident in the music now.
