EARTH WEEK / a few favorite packaging design tips no matter what material you’re working with
As brands like Nestlé, L’Oréal, and Unilever commit to increasing post-consumer recycled content, demand is outpacing supply. How you design can determine whether your packaging has a real chance of being recovered and reused, and a few precautions make all the difference.
EARTH WEEK / One of our favorite sustainable packaging designs
For allkinds sponges, using PVAL: a water-soluble, biodegradable material engineered to dissolve. We turned the science into something visual, playful, and easy for kids to understand, turning the back of the pack into a fun “eco-friendly facts” panel for food-inspired sponge shapes.
Who is she? The kikki.K rebrand started with getting crystal clear on the customer and building a world that's unmistakably theirs. We defined this new generation as curious, bold, spirited, and purposeful, and let that lead every creative decision.
Our kikki.K rebrand was reviewed by Brand New by Underconsideration. Always a meaningful moment to see the work in conversation with the wider design community. We'd love to hear your thoughts 👇
Stationery was just the beginning. The kikki.K rebrand was strategically designed to expand into new verticals and categories, with travel being one of their first new frontiers.
Shared Practice is a New York–based co-working and events space conceived by the brand-building firm @practice.inc and opened in early 2024. Designed by creatives for creatives, the project responds to a clear need within the city’s creative community: a flexible, well-considered environment that adapts to the many ways creative work actually happens.
At its core, Shared Practice is built around the idea of reconfiguration. During the day, the space functions as a working studio, hosting designers, art directors, and independent creatives. In the evening, it transforms into a gathering place for talks, exhibitions, and workshops. Read More, Link in bio #bountyhuntersarchive #graphicdesign #coworking #newyork #graphicdesigncommunity
A festival-inspired takeover of Allkinds stores 🍭Meet Chupafest: an imagined supercharged music festival lineup featuring each of the collection’s 4 flavors as the stars, which inspired the design of the collection and brought Chupa Chups’ nostalgia and delight to kids and parents alike.
Two universes of flavor and fun, one sweet collab. The brand system we developed for Allkinds’ Chupa Chups collection came to life in the most delightful way. Allkinds’ in-store displays featured a far-out twist: our spin on the iconic Chupa Chups daisy, which draws inspiration from Allkinds’ beloved rainbow.
We worked to conceptualize and brief hero illustrations that embodied each flavor, collaborating with illustrator Steve Gavan to bring them to life. These characters were later evolved into 3D toys and other assets, adding personality and interactivity to each range.
We worked with Allkinds to launch their first-ever brand collaboration – with Chupa Chups. Inspired by festival graphics and spirit, we created a totally sweet ‘Chupafest’, featuring a lineup of skin & body care in Chupa Chups–inspired fragrances 🍭
To launch the collection, we developed the campaign concept, brand system, messaging, and packaging: blending Allkinds’ signature rainbow with the Chupa Chups’ iconic yellow daisy.
