‘Misfits’ by Prachi Mittal - 3rd year Communication Design student project for Consumer behaviour and technology. This project involved creating a design-led campaign for B2C brand, combining consumer psychology with visual storytelling. The objective was to study the brand’s positioning and develop a campaign that could communicate its core value in a more engaging and impactful way through digital and outdoor media. The concept was built around the idea that “in a chaotic world, what you consume becomes a part of you.” Instead of approaching the product through a typical health narrative, the campaign interprets modern-day overwhelm through surreal and exaggerated visuals, using chaos as a metaphor for everyday life and positioning the drink as something that works from within. The final output includes a cinematic campaign video supported by strong visual elements. The story uses surreal moments like grapes falling from the sky and a larger-than-life can to create a sense of chaos. These visuals are used to represent how overwhelming everyday life can feel. The drink is shown as something that becomes a part of this experience, rather than just a product. Participation in this was honestly so nostalgic. Huge thanks to @logoarchive and @logoarchive.now @logoarchive.logotypes for creating a space that celebrates identity design beyond trends ✨ These aren’t just logos to me. They’re a reflection of the last 3 years of learning, experimenting, overthinking, failing, improving, and slowly finding my own visual language. Going back through old projects and seeing how much my work has evolved was a really emotional experience in the best way possible. Every logo here holds a different version of me as a designer, some bold, some messy, some playful, some more refined. And honestly, this piece might be one of the closest representations of my journey so far. It may not be filled with colours, but it carries something more timeless: emotion, growth, and personality. What if the land itself became the identity? After exploring multiple directions for Common Ground, everything looked beautiful, but nothing felt truly rooted to the place. We didn’t want to create just another minimal retreat identity. That’s when we started looking at projects like Brasil Amazonia and the way NASA visualises maps, terrains, rivers, and organic land formations. From there, we created a visual system around CG using flowing forms inspired by rivers, terrains, and natural movement patterns. We wanted the entire visual system to feel the same way Common Ground feels when you’re there: slow mornings, open skies, silence, stillness, and a sense of coming back to yourself. Something soft. Something grounded. Something that feels discovered, not designed.
