There is the most beautiful tree in the park by my house. Twisted, atmospheric branches but with a low, wide canopy that makes me feel like I am surrounded by the tree. This is that tree in autumn.

Flooded Trees
Sometimes nature's calm energy finds us in unexpected places. I painted this after York's River Ouse half submerged the trees at the edge of the playground that my daughter loves to play in.
