a piece I did for the art exhibition at KCCC Korea Conference this summer! The theme was “What is true happiness?” & wanted to capture the happiness I experience when I consider my countless past, present, and future blessings 🤠

it was fun & new being challenged to create something based on a specific theme, & my first time submitting for an art exhibition! def would hv felt too much imposter syndrome even just a year ago with my art so thankful to hv been okay with showing my art in this way
i still don’t know how I feel about considering myself an artist tbh LOL. so aware of my limitations in creativity & skill 😀. But did feel surreal to submit this as an artist (😬) & thankful to all the people that came to see it!!!

Finishing off 2025 with a silly drawing LOL. The OG sketch of this is… monstrous 😭
Spent the latter half of 2025 studying the book of John, & one of the themes that stood out to me was the light/day vs. darkness/night comparison, with Jesus being referred to as the “true Light.”
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” (John 8:12)
Spent so much time thinking about Jesus as the light, & I happened to be thinking about it as a sudden urge to create something hit me LOL. I don’t have any particular deep reflections, & this isn’t meant to be a deep piece, but I just drew what I’ve been feeling as a bearer of the gospel message & my testimony of that Light in my life. A very unserious drawing, but something that I feel is very …me LOL

Some artwork I did for my friend’s wedding invitations! I unknowingly wrote “deborah & isaac” instead of “isaac & deborah” all over it but just goes to show that I was only thinking about deb LOL
Deb is a dear, close friend that really helped me to become confident in my weird, nerdy, niche interests, & encouraged my art journey so much along the way (tb to my mandalorian art LOOL). I used to mail whole pages of doodles to her bc I knew she would appreciate them HAHA. Forever grateful for our friendship & how much she’s helped me to be truly me 🥹. Love you deb; 2021 us would’ve been screaming at the fact that you’re married now 😫

Got to do a visual art piece for my Bible Study Methods class! Drew Ephesians 6:10-17, which talks about how we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil, and that we are to take up the armor of God.
I sprinkled a lot of different references throughout each armor, and the red elements correspond to a different sin/aspect of fallenness found in Scripture. (Notice how they all crumble/dissipate as they encounter each piece of armor!)
Of course I chose a canvas size that’s too long for IG… but check my story for the full picture :’-)
It was a lot of experimenting and playing around with effects and styles, and it’s not super cohesive, but happy with it nonetheless :-))
