Today, our government introduced the Building Billy Bishop Airport Act, 2026, to support the modernization and expansion of Billy Bishop Airport and help:
✅ Improve competition in the air travel sector
✅ Reduce pressure on Pearson
✅ Support more routes
✅ Cheaper flights
✅ Create thousands of good-paying jobs across Ontario
This is how we protect Ontario.
🚇We’ve taken the next big step forward in our plan to build the Ontario Line, which will put nearly 230,000 people within walking distance of transit and support 4,700 good-paying Ontario jobs.
Tunnelling is now underway at Exhibition Station, as the tunnel boring machines get to work on the first new subway tunnels in downtown Toronto in more than 60 years. #ontarioline #subway #onpoli #toronto
