Haven’t dropped a post in a while but lots have happen past couple months. With me taking the steps of being a better man in life, which means becoming vulnerable and asking for help getting out of my dark past life. Because us as men don’t have everything figured out, and we refused to look weak in front of others. It was tough for me to surrender but I could not continue to live the life I had. Damaging my relationship with the one person i love, friends family. Avoiding confrontations, remaining silent, doing hurtful things to people’s hearts that no one should experience. I mentally broke down and got help. I would like to say thank you God for guiding me to my sister @glodejesus78 & @dave_0h who have brought into the church for God had the answers for me @weare_mission opened so many doors and opportunities / communities for me which had lead me to awesome group of men that I continue to grow and thrive in. I also encourage other men to do the same @hilltakers . You are not alone in this world there’s nothing wrong with looking or asking for help. Most importantly I would like to thank @samantha_d_lump for never giving up on me and always pushing me to do better in life because in my past life I would always let her down I may not be perfect man but I will choose and do what’s right at the end of the day and I love you & thank you. I’ve experienced a remarkable transformation in my life since I started my spiritual journey. I’m thankful for the supportive community I’ve found through @hilltakers , which has given me opportunities to serve and help others. Tonight’s volunteer event for @weareoutreach program to help elderly was a huge success, thanks to the incredible men and women , kids who participated. Not only do I “manage” @movementgymschicago , I also put in the time to protect your outside climbing crags with @rrgcc down at the Red River Gorge by doing trail maintenance to keep those areas open and safe. This weekend we made a new trail to left side of fruit wall to make it easier to get to. Great people to see their hard work done and new skills to help take care of the land.
