This is me living large. I am out of the cage.
This is me putting myself first. I am fucking proud of what my body has done and how it’s responding to life after cancer. This is me starting another business, trying new things…stepping out of my comfort zone.
Fuck the noise, the norms, the expectations, the social stigmas, the perfection. Blinders on bbs.
It’s time for women to shine. To be brave. To be big. To be strong.

Today, our attention turns to Kelly – to the responsibility of “deciding who you become when crisis no longer gives direction.” After a cancer diagnosis came treatment, and then the unfamiliar after: the moment when the medical structure falls away, and you’re returned to life without instructions. Nothing comes back the same. As she puts it, “Survival didn’t feel like a finish line. It felt like renegotiation.”
And with it came the snowkini series she had imagined for years, shot on film with a vintage sensibility, rooted in nostalgia, presence and physical freedom – a refusal to postpone, and choosing the moment anyway.
“You’re returned to your life without the illusion that it’s all going to hold together.” What follows is a conversation about moving forward without guarantees.

Been a long time coming, (well… at least a year) this shoot…but the timing to document me at this stage in my life and my scars hadn’t hit until recently. So I named this shoot PROOF OF LIFE… Thank you to @bisouxdelune for getting me out of my comfort zone and capturing such a vulnerable chapter. You turned this into the total dream I had envisioned. PROOF.

I thrived another year and celebrated with lots of oysters and cake…yet not at the same time.
Became an OFFICIAL cowgirl in ATX. 🤠 Ma’am
Spent quality time with all my loved ones, catching sunrises, tiny planes and lifting heavy.
Feeling blessed today and everyday.
