Mifepristone is safe and effective — and has been FDA approved for over 25 years. It has helped patients make medical decisions in private and has expanded access to abortion care as lawmakers continue to restrict abortion. Medical research and evidence overwhelmingly prove that providing mifepristone to patients by mail using telehealth is just as safe and effective as providing the medication in person at a health center. This post is for educational purposes only.

🫰There are two ways to donate: ➡️ Visit our Amazon Wishlist, order, and have the items sent to us directly (link in bio!) OR ➡️ Using the Amazon Wishlist as a guide for what we need, collect new, unopened items and deliver them to one of our administrative locations during open business hours: 📍Buffalo: 60 E Amherst St, Buffalo, NY, 14214 📍Rochester: 114 University Ave, Rochester, NY, 14605 📍Syracuse: 1120 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY, 13210 Some of our highest priority needs include granola bars, cozy socks, fidget toys and stress balls, and cute pens — but any new, unopened items from our wishlist (or similar) are so helpful and appreciated. 🫰 Everyone deserve to feel safe, supported, and comfortable after an abortion. 💙

Every patient should have control over their private health information. S.1633/A.2613 would give patients real control over who can access their electronic health records and when, putting privacy back where it belongs. This bill just took an important step forward, advancing through the Assembly Health Committee. 📣 Now let’s keep the momentum going. Email state leadership and urge them to pass S.1633/A.2613 this session. ↗️ Link in bio. #FundCare #NewYork #HealthCare #ReproFreedom @senfernandez34

April is National Volunteer Month! 💐 At PPCWNY, volunteers support our work in many ways — through creating a welcoming space for patients at our health centers, offering options to survivors on the RESTORE hotline, advocating for supportive policies for reproductive rights in the community and with lawmakers, or assisting behind the scenes through administrative and operational needs and beyond. Thank you, volunteers 💌 ✨ If you're interested in becoming a volunteer with PPCWNY, join our next Volunteer Orientation on Monday, May 4 from 6 to 8pm! Click the link in our bio to sign up 🔗
