Lesson 4: Stop waiting for someone else to validate you. This one comes up a lot. So many talented wedding pros are waiting to feel chosen — by the industry, by a client, by someone with a bigger platform — before they let themselves move forward. 👉🏼 Where do you think you’re still waiting for permission instead of deciding for yourself? PSA: This is part of a 31-day series where I’m sharing one business lesson a day for wedding pros as we head into 2026. These lessons are pulled straight from my 200th podcast episode, and the goal is conversation — not perfection. I’m glad you’re here.

Lesson 3: Your reputation is built in the small, unseen moments. This is something I’ve watched play out over and over again in this industry. How you communicate when things are easy matters — but how you show up when things are stressful, uncomfortable, or inconvenient matters a whole lot more. 👉🏼 What do you think people remember most about working with you once the event is over? PSA: This is part of a 31-day series where I’m sharing one business lesson a day for wedding pros as we head into 2026. These are lessons pulled straight from what I’ve seen, experienced, and talked about on the podcast — and I’m loving the conversations they’re sparking. Come back tomorrow for the next one. #candicecoppola #weddingindustry #weddingplanner #weddingbusiness

Lesson 2: You don’t grow by doing more. You grow by doing what actually matters. This one comes up constantly in my work. So many wedding pros feel behind, lazy, or like they’re not doing enough — when in reality, they’re doing too much of the wrong stuff at the same time. 👉🏼 If you had to pick one thing to focus on for the next few months, what would it be? Or flip side: what’s one thing you already know you could let go of? PSA: This is part of a 31-day series where I’m sharing one business lesson a day for wedding pros as we head into 2026. These are the ideas I come back to when I think about longevity, focus, and building a business that doesn’t require constant hustle to survive. I’d love for you to stick around and join the conversation as we go. #weddingindustry #weddingpros #candicecoppola #2026goals #businessgrowthstrategy

Lesson 1: If you’re bored or unhappy, your business is asking you to evolve. I’ve had to learn this one the hard way more than once. 👉🏼 What part of your business feels like it can’t come with you this year? I’d love to hear in the comments. PSA: For the next 31 days, I’m sharing one business lesson a day for wedding pros as we begin 2026. These are the ideas I keep coming back to when I think about longevity, creativity, and building a business that still feels good years in. It’s also a way for me to connect with you! I hope you’ll come back each day and join the conversation. #weddingindustry #weddingpros #candicecoppola #2026goals

I’m feeling a little emotional writing this 🥹 The Power in Purpose podcast just hit 200 episodes!! It’s such a big milestone, and that number represents so much more than consistency or content. It represents choosing to show up when it felt scary. Sharing my thoughts before I felt “ready.” Hitting publish even when I worried about sounding dumb, being misunderstood, or not knowing where this would lead. When I started this podcast in 2018, I truly didn’t know if anyone would listen. I just knew I had something to say and a deep desire to talk honestly about building a business that supports a real life. Somewhere along the way, this stopped being “just a podcast” and became a space for big conversations, quiet moments, hard truths, hot takes, and the parts of entrepreneurship no one really prepares you for. And none of this exists without you. 😭 If you’ve ever listened on a walk, in the car, while cooking dinner, or during one of those “what am I even doing?” seasons in your business, I want to thank you. Your presence here has mattered more than you know. To celebrate episode 200, I shared 23 lessons I wish every wedding pro knew. Lessons about confidence, boundaries, money, leadership, nervous system regulation, and what actually creates momentum in this industry. I’m so grateful to be here. And I’m so grateful you’re here too. 💛 I hope you’ll take some time to listen today and celebrate with me! Xo, C

You keep waiting for that future version of yourself (you know, the one who’s confident with money, pays herself first, and runs a business that feels calm, sustainable, and profitable). But she’s not coming. You aren’t just going to wake up and “become her” someday. You need to start building her now. In this episode, I brought on @erinn_bridgman to talk all about building WEALTH as a wedding pro, and this future self exercise is truly just the beginning. I know firsthand that when you start identifying as that version of yourself now, everything changes. You stop operating from survival mode and start leading from security and abundance. I want that for you and Erinn does too! Next week, she’s hosting a free masterclass where she’s sharing her 4-part framework to help you ditch the money stress and pay yourself first every month. Comment 197 and I will send you the link to listen to this week’s episode (and sign up for the masterclass). I will see you there ⬇️ #candicecoppola #weddingindustry #weddingpros #weddingpro #weddingindustryexperts #weddingpodcast #weddingbusiness #thepowerinpurposepodcast #weddingindustryeducation #weddingpodcast #weddingbusiness #weddingindustryeducation

There are certain people you meet in business who just get it. Who love the work they do, the clients they serve, and have a deep passion for the wedding industry. Frances Ledgewood is one of those people. She’s the heart and hands behind @ledgewoodfinestationery , but more than that, she’s a visionary. A long-time podcast listener, private client, and someone I’ve had the absolute joy of mentoring as she’s taken bold steps to grow a brand that’s as intentional as it is iconic. In this week’s Behind the Brand, I’m sitting down with Frances to talk about building a business rooted in heart, legacy, and excellence. We talk about her early days, how she’s built her brand, grown a team, and stepped into a bold new season of leadership. You’re going to feel so inspired hearing about Frances journey — and I can’t wait for you to tune in! PSA for my OGs ✨ You’ve got the talent and the experience... but you already know… it’s not as easy as it used to be. And it’s only getting harder. The pros who will actually survive the next generation of business are the ones prioritizing visibility. I’m seeing insanely talented and experienced OGs in our industry being overlooked because they’re not showing up. And if that’s you, I have a question... 👀 What are you going to do about it? Comment 190 and I will send you the link to listen to this week’s episode of The Power in Purpose where I’m sharing the 5 ways I see wedding pros playing small (and what it’s costing you).

Everyone’s talking about how AI is making everybody sound the same. I’m here to tell you they’re wrong. Once you know how to train ChatGPT on your brand voice? It can quickly become your unfair advantage. In this week’s episode, I’m talking about: 👉 What “training” AI really looks like 👉 How to make it sound exactly like you 👉 Why this is the skill that will set you apart from your competition this year And if you’re ready to go beyond listening and actually do the work? Join me later this month for my live workshop where I’ll walk you through the exact process of training ChatGPT on your brand voice so it becomes your full-service marketing assistant. Wedding pros, don’t sit this one out. Comment 189 and I will send you the link to listen now (and workshop details so you can register!) #candicecoppola #weddingindustry #weddingpros #weddingpro #weddingindustryexperts #weddingpodcast #weddingbusiness #weddingindustryeducation #thepowerinpurposepodcast #weddingplanner

This week’s Behind the Brand episode is a special one. I’m sitting down with someone I’ve had the honor (and joy!) of mentoring: Lindsey Kleidman, founder of @wildflowereventsdesign and the creative force behind @campwildflower.co 🌸🔥 If you’ve ever scrolled her feed and thought, “Damn, I want to go to that wedding…”
Same!! Lindsey has built a brand that’s bold, personality-driven, and beautifully refined… and in this episode, we dive into how she did it and why it works. We’re talking:
✨ Styled shoots that built her confidence ✨ What it means to take “big swings”
✨ Saying yes and knowing when to say hell no
✨ Her big rebrand and what it taught her
✨ Finding her creative spark again through Camp Wildflower
✨ And what it really takes to build an iconic brand If you’ve ever wondered how to show up more boldly, stand out in your market, or evolve without losing who you are, this one’s for you. And if you recognize the theme song playing over this post you’ll understand what Linds and I discussed HEAVILY before any coaching call or Voxer message 🤣 Comment “188” and I’ll DM you a link to this episode so you can listen in! Reputation isn’t built in the spotlight. It’s built in the quiet moments when you choose not to take the bait. In this clip from the latest episode, I’m breaking down one of the most overlooked but powerful ways to build a brand that commands respect: staying out of the bullshit. 👉 That means stepping away from the gossip-filled group chats. 👉 That means not chiming in when someone starts bashing another vendor. 👉 That means not running to threads when you see another vendor f*cking up. Reputation isn’t just what you say about yourself. It’s what others feel safe saying around you. And if people feel like you’re a safe space to gossip, chances are they’ll feel just as safe gossiping about you. This episode is your reminder to keep it clean. Stay client-focused. Surround yourself with good people. Let your reputation speak louder than any tea ever could. Comment 187 and I will send you the link to listen to this week’s episode. . . . . . #candicecoppola #weddingindustry #weddingpros #weddingpro #weddingindustryexperts #weddingpodcast #weddingbusiness #weddingbusiness #thepowerinpurposepodcast #weddingindustryeducation #weddingplanner

Success leaves clues 👏 I used to think successful people had something I didn’t. More confidence. More clarity. More certainty. But then I looked closer. And here’s what I saw: They weren’t waiting to feel ready. They weren’t waiting to be chosen. They weren’t waiting AT ALL. They moved with the fear. They spoke up despite the self-doubt. They gave themselves permission before anyone else ever did. Because success? It’s not about perfection. It’s about boldness. ✨ This week’s podcast episode is all about that shift — the one that luxury clients can feel when they’re deciding whether to trust you. And the one that might be keeping you stuck.
