Hotels are not that cheap, but an alternative is a ‘trendy’ hostel or B&B
On saying this, we chose 5⭐️ Hotel Du Roi (Sowell group) and for the price we were pleasantly surprised.

One of the Dutch Antilles islands, Bonaire has such a great vibe; bohemian X surfer with a sprinkle of Carib. Life here is definitely slow. Days are wind surfing or beach bumming.

The town of Kralendijk is a beautiful mix of marshmallow coloured buildings interspersed with palm and other native trees.
You can wander the streets and stop to buy some gorgeous local crafts and artwork. Drink a cocktail or craft beer at the laid back bars. Many Dutch nationals run the hospitality here and so think Amsterdam meets Barbados and has a baby!

We ✈️to Perth stopping over in Kuala Lumpur, then ⏭ to Adelaide for a few days, 🚘 the great coastal road on to Melbourne for a few days. Then next was a ✈️ to Brisbane for a week. From there we drove the coastal road to Sydney for a week and then flew home from there.
