We believe there are no universal shades, so we personalize color to your unique skin and lip tone. With Cake Theory, we wanted to take this approach to “clear” by allowing you to filter out anything you didn’t want peeking through with traditional clear glosses and oils.
That means, if you have fordyce, hyperpigmentation, or dullness, there’s a shade for you. With Cake Theory, your lips still look like your lips, but adjusted to your liking.
We do this by using color science:
💛 - Melted Butter neutralizes the appearance of purplish-brown lip liners, dark spots, freckles, and smoker’s lips.
🤎 - Browning equalizes two-toned lips, fordyce, and pink spots on lips.
🩷 - Cactus Jam masks dull, green tones to make lips appear naturally pinker.
There is no “PH adjusting” gimmick, no covering—just color science 😊

This particular shade neutralizes green and discoloration, bringing balance and fullness back to your lips. Prepare for your new favorite lip oil to be packed with ceramides and active ingredients that *clinically* nourish your skin while adding volume.
Additionally, we want to apologize. While you have been raving about the formula, we know some of you have experienced an issue with it “leaking from the side.” The issue arose from a choice we made when designing the packaging. We wanted you to be able to pick up more product with each dip, so we chose a wiper (#5-slide 2) with split openings and less resistance. Unfortunately, this led to excess product that was trapped under the cap and made its way down when you closed your lip oil. We’re excited to announce we fixed this issue and new lip oils, with a tighter wiper, are already available to purchase. Same cushiony feel you love, just more controlled 😊.
