San Francisco mayoral candidate Daniel Lurie made a campaign appearance at the Daily Driver bagel shop and cafe in Dogpatch earlier this month, seen here with store owner Tamara Hicks. Lurie, the former CEO of anti-poverty non-profit Tipping Point Community, has emerged as a leading candidate against mayor London Breed. He has emphasized solutions to homeless as a central point in his campaign, with a goal of building 1,500 shelter beds in the city during his first 6 months as mayor.
The View will continue its coverage of the mayor’s race in future issues.
